Empowering our residents with tools and information to help them create options for themselves and plan strategies for permanent change in their lives
Without the right tools, one cannot build a solid foundation. That is why House of Hope CDC’s highly trained staff members facilitate weekly group discussions in a variety of settings, on topics such as budgeting, time management, parenting, personal care, stress management, health and nutrition and more. Empowering our residents with tools and information helps them to create options for themselves and plan strategies for permanent change in their lives. With the experience that our residents gain through the Life Skills program, many are able to get jobs and move out of homelessness.
