House of Hope CDC’s latest project is the preservation of one of Warwick’s most historically significant properties, the Fair House in Pawtuxet Village, which served as the location of the RI State Fair in the early 1800’s. Completed in May 2017, the Fair House provides 10 units of permanent supportive housing.
What is Affordable Home Ownership?
All Rhode Islanders deserve to live in a safe, quality home that is affordable to their budget
House of Hope CDC buys, builds, and renovates single and multi family workforce housing for families and individuals whose incomes are at 80% or less of AMI (average median income). The houses provide both first time home ownership opportunities as well as affordable rentals. Each project is built to complement its neighborhood surroundings and is constructed to meet the highest level of energy efficiency possible.
